About GNR Robotics
What is GNR Robotics?
GNR Robotics is a hands-on robotics and STEM education program run by SRS EduTech from the SRS Learning Centre in Horamavu, Bengaluru. It partners with schools to teach robotics, electronics, 3D printing, drones and AI to Grades 1–12, with kits, project workbooks, trained mentors and LMS access, and teaches students directly at its Horamavu and Vijayanagar centres.
How is GNR Robotics related to SRS EduTech?
GNR Robotics is a program of SRS EduTech, a Bengaluru education company. It is based at the SRS Learning Centre in Horamavu, and SRS EduTech's parent website is srsedutech.com.
Where are your centres?
Our main centre is at SRS Learning Centre, Kalpavruksha Nidhi, Horamavu Agara Rd, Horamavu, Bengaluru 560043. Our newer centre is at Disciples Corporate School, 3444 Chord Rd, opposite Attiguppe Metro Station, Vijayanagar, Bengaluru 560040.
Which grades do you teach?
We teach Grades 1–12 in four grade bands: Tinker Explorers (Grades 1–2), Foundation Builders (Grades 3–5), Junior Innovator (Grades 6–9) and the TechPreneurship Track (Grades 10–12). For schools, our proposal also covers LKG and UKG.
Curriculum and classes
What do students learn?
Electronics, mechanics, coding, 3D printing, drones and applied AI, with a TechPreneurship track where older students pitch and cost their builds. Each band has its own page: see Programs.
How many classes are there in a year?
The program runs 26 classes a year. Classes are taught offline, in person; the online platform supports them with video lessons, quizzes and chapter PDFs.
Do students need their own laptops?
No. The curriculum is designed for classrooms where students don't have individual laptops, so class time goes into building and wiring rather than screens.
What does a student get?
Hands-on kits, a project workbook and access to our LMS with video lessons, quizzes and chapter PDFs.
Who owns the kits?
This depends on the program and is set out in writing before you enrol or sign. Ask us for the details for your child's band or your school.
Is the curriculum aligned with CBSE and NEP 2020?
Our school proposal maps Grades VI–XII to CBSE's skill subjects, Kaushal Bodh and the Computational Thinking and AI curriculum, and offers a Composite Skill Lab framework. These CBSE initiatives follow NEP 2020's push for hands-on skills and coding from the middle years. See the school proposal.
How are students assessed?
On what they build. Each grade works towards a project, such as an automatic night lamp in Grade IV or a line-following robot in Grade VIII, which students demonstrate and explain.
Will robotics affect exam preparation?
It runs as one period a week or as a club, so it adds a hands-on subject rather than replacing core study time. Many topics, such as circuits, sensors and measurement, reinforce what students learn in science and maths.
Safety and mentors
Is it safe for young children?
Yes. Younger grades use enclosed low-voltage modules and child-safe tools, and mentors supervise every activity. Drone flying is introduced gradually and always supervised.
Who teaches the classes?
All our trainers are trained and qualified, and teach every class in person. Drone hardware and faculty training are supported by our MOU with Dronacharya Tech Hub.
How big are the classes?
It depends on the school or centre batch. Ask us for the batch size at your centre or for your school.
For schools
How does a school partnership work?
A discovery call and demo, a written proposal, an MOU, then a trained mentor, kits, workbooks and LMS access for your students. The full process is on our school partnerships page.
How much does it cost for a school?
We discuss pricing directly with each school, since it depends on the grades, student numbers and whether you want a lab set up. Call 96866 89266 or email support@gnrrobo.com.
Can you help set up a robotics or Composite Skill Lab?
Yes. Our proposal includes a Composite Skill Lab framework organised around CBSE's three forms of work, with GNR's robotics, electronics, 3D printing and drone activities in the Machines & Materials section. Read our lab setup guide.
Which schools do you work with?
Our partner schools include Samsidh, Esha and Aurobindo. Our Vijayanagar centre is at Disciples Corporate School, through our MOU with Disciples India.
For parents
How do I book a demo class?
Walk in at either centre for a free demo class, or pick a slot online on our Book a Demo page. You can also call 81239 54510.
What are the fees?
We discuss fees directly with each family. Call 81239 54510 or visit a centre; before you enrol we confirm in writing what the fee covers, including kits, materials and LMS access. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Will I see what my child is doing?
Yes. Mentors share regular updates on what your child is building, and each term ends with a project your child can demonstrate.
