Robotics education in Bangalore.

Hands-on robotics for schools and students, from Horamavu and Vijayanagar.

Last updated:

In short: GNR Robotics teaches robotics, electronics, 3D printing, drones and AI to Grades 1–12 in Bangalore. Schools can run it in-house as a weekly period or club; students can join at our centres in Horamavu (North-East Bangalore) and Vijayanagar (West Bangalore, opposite Attiguppe Metro). Classes are in person and need no individual laptops.

Why are Bangalore schools adding robotics?

Bangalore parents work in, or around, the technology industry, and they ask schools what their children will build, not just what they will study. At the same time, CBSE has introduced skill subjects, a Computational Thinking and AI curriculum, and Composite Skill Labs, following NEP 2020's emphasis on hands-on learning. Many schools want a program that meets both needs without hiring and training a robotics department from scratch.

What should a Bangalore school look for?

  • In-person teaching. Robotics is learned with hands on hardware. Check who will be in your classroom each week.
  • A grade-wise path. A Grade 2 student and a Grade 10 student need different things. Ask to see the course for each grade.
  • Board fit. For CBSE schools, ask how courses map to skill subjects. Ask about ICSE and State board timetables too.
  • No laptop dependency. Many classrooms don't have a laptop per student. The program should work anyway.
  • A demo first. See a real class before you sign.
